Common questions about MCP credits, billing, and integration.

MCP credits are consumed each time you call a CyberXTron tool through an AI agent (e.g. Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible LLM). Each tool invocation — IOC lookups, threat-intel queries, advisory fetches — deducts credits based on the operation's complexity. You can monitor your real-time credit balance on the Plans & Usage page in the portal.

Yes. When you register and activate your MCP account you receive a set of trial credits — no credit card required. Trial credits expire 30 days after activation. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time from the Plans & Usage page in the portal; the upgrade preserves any unused trial activity history.

Monthly is $29 / month and includes 1,550 MCP credits per billing month. Annual is $290 / year (≈ $24 / month) and includes 18,600 credits granted upfront for the full year — about a 17% saving over paying monthly. Credits are allocated at the start of each billing period and apply only to MCP tool calls.

No. Credits expire at the end of your billing period (monthly or annual) and do not carry forward. We recommend keeping an eye on the Plans & Usage page and using top-ups if you approach your limit near the end of a period — top-ups also expire at the same period boundary.

Top-ups are credit packs you can buy at any time from the Plans & Usage page once you're on a paid plan. Choose a preset pack (e.g. 2,500 / 12,500 / 50,000 credits) or enter a custom amount. Larger packs include automatic discounts. We charge your saved card directly — no redirect — and credits land in your balance within seconds of payment confirmation. Top-ups attach to your current billing period and expire when the period ends.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe. Card details are stored securely with Stripe — CyberXTron never sees or stores raw card numbers. You can update or remove your card at any time from the Stripe Billing Portal, accessible directly from your Plans & Usage page.

Yes. Stripe automatically emails you a receipt and a PDF invoice after every successful charge — both for your monthly/annual subscription renewals and for one-off top-ups. Full invoice history, downloadable PDFs, and payment-method management are also available any time through the Stripe Billing Portal link in your Plans & Usage page.

Some banks require an extra security check (3D Secure) for online card charges, especially in the EU/UK. When that happens, your bank's verification screen appears inline in the CyberXTron portal — usually a one-time code sent to your phone or app — and the purchase completes as soon as you confirm. You don't need to re-enter your card details; we never see the verification code.

Yes. Larger preset packs come with automatic value-add discounts: 10% off the 2,500-credit pack, 20% off the 12,500-credit pack, and 30% off the 50,000-credit pack. The discount is applied to your charge — you still receive the full credit count of the pack. Custom amounts are billed at the standard per-credit rate.

Once your credits reach zero, MCP tool calls return a credit-exhausted response and your AI agent receives a clear message with a link to purchase additional credits. Your portal access and any other CyberXTron product subscriptions are unaffected — only MCP tool calls are blocked until you top up or your next billing period starts.

All subscription changes are self-serve from the Plans & Usage page. Upgrading takes effect immediately and prorates your remaining period. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access and unused credits until then. We don't issue refunds for partial periods, but you can always re-activate later with a fresh billing cycle.

If you cancel, you keep your credits and MCP access until the end of your paid period; afterward, your subscription drops to inactive and any remaining credits are forfeit. If a renewal payment fails, we retry it automatically and you have a short grace period to update your card via the Stripe Billing Portal — your credits remain available during the retry window. Top-up credits are not refundable.
